Internal Reporting System (Whistleblowing)

Pursuant to Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the Protection of Whistleblowers, Metrostav Development a.s. has established an internal reporting system intended for employees and persons in a comparable position who, in connection with their work or similar activity, become aware of a potential unlawful conduct.

Metrostav Development a.s. excludes the acceptance of reports from persons who do not perform work or a similar activity for the company within the meaning of Section 2(3)(a), (e), (h) or (i) of Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the Protection of Whistleblowers.

A whistleblower who has reasonable grounds to believe that the reported information is true and concerns unlawful conduct covered by Act No. 171/2023 Coll. will be provided with appropriate protection. Access to the reporting channels is granted only to the designated person, who is obliged to protect the identity of the whistleblower at all times. The identity of the whistleblower may not be disclosed to any third party without the whistleblower’s explicit consent.

The whistleblower is guaranteed confidentiality with respect to both their identity and the content of the report. The duty of confidentiality applies not only to the whistleblower’s identity but also to any information from which the whistleblower could be directly or indirectly identified. Conversely, knowingly false reports may be subject to sanctions. For the purposes of mitigating and effectively managing risks related to money laundering and terrorist financing, an employee or a natural person performing activities for the obliged entity outside a basic employment relationship may also submit an anonymous report, in accordance with Section 21(6) of Act No. 253/2008 Coll.
