Metrostav Group has a long-term focus on sustainable development and aligns its goals with a responsible approach to the environment. As part of our biodiversity efforts, we launched the DevelopMED initiative in 2024 and created optimal rooftop conditions for beekeeping at our headquarters.
The project allows us to produce our own honey and reduce the use of single-use plastic containers — previously around 2,000 per year.

Cesta domů 2018–2026
The clients of the non-profit organisation Cesta domů are people with incurable illnesses and their families. As a home hospice, it provides medical care, counselling and education. Cesta domů ensures that children and adults who are dying at home have access to professional healthcare and can, where possible, fulfil their wish to spend the end of life in their own environment, surrounded by close relatives.
Metrostav Development, together with its employees, has contributed to Cesta domů seven times so far. Over eight years of support, we have donated more than CZK 2 million, helping fund professional home hospice care, equipment for inpatient respite services, the purchase of a car, the launch of an urgent palliative care project, children’s palliative care, a palliative outpatient clinic and psychological support for clients and their family members.
