Founded in 1971 during the construction of the Prague Metro, Metrostav evolved from a technically focused contractor into a diversified construction group. Its development division, active since the 1990s, was formalised in 2008 through the creation of Metrostav Development, which today focuses on residential and commercial projects, operating as part of the Metrostav Group.
Since 2008, we have delivered over 3,500 flats and numerous commercial projects in key locations across the Czech Republic. From early residential developments such as Bydlení Cibulka in Prague 5 to modern office complexes including Administrativní centrum Palmovka, our projects have helped shape neighbourhoods and contribute to the quality of urban life.
